First funding
It’s official now – MFG, the film funding board of Baden-Württemberg, has granted us 28.000 EUR! This is probably the first time that a crowdfunded feature film project is recognized by a governmental film funding institution in Germany and probably also the first time ever that a Lovecraft adaptation is receiving public funding. For us it is the first time, too, and we are looking forward now towards this upcoming cooperation.
Big thanks to you all, without you we never would have come so far! It’s hard to say no, if there is such a clear demand for a film like “The Dreamlands”.
Frontières
Just assembled a new sizzle reel for upcoming meetings we are going to have with film professionals at the international genre film co-production market Frontières in Brussels from Thursday till Saturday:

Unfortunately you will probably never see this video, since there is copyrighted material in it and it spoilers a lot of the story. But it really rocks and looks fantastic – which is its sole purpose – hope our final trailer will come close to this, it would blow your minds off!
Let’s see what it does to those film sales and distribution guys…

Fantasy Lost
TV report about the third Genrenale in Berlin, film festival of German genre cinema. Last year our third teaser premiered there, this year the festival program grew to two full days and drew attention by German film biz veterans like director Dominik Graf. He complained about the total lack of fantasy films in Germany right at the beginning of this video clip. – Well, we’re working on it!
